Need help with an animal welfare matter?
Are you facing prosecution?
I have immense experience of making applications to the following:
The Magistrate’s Court
The Crown Court
The Court of Appeal
The Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC)
The LegalOmbudsman
The High Court (Queen’s and King’s Bench)
The County Court (civil claims)
As a result of a prosecution I faced in 2009, under the Animal Welfare Act (2006), it has probably made me the most experienced individual, in the UK at this time, on procedures brought under this Act.
I hold no legal qualification. My experience is based solely upon my practical day-to-day involvement, over the past fourteen years, with a case that was recklessly pursued against me.
A person who studies to become a solicitor in the UK, will spend at least six years before qualifying. Once qualified, they will know very little about the Animal Welfare Act, and will therefore have no practical experience to offer clients seeking help with animal welfare prosecution matters.
There are few solicitors, (I can think of only one) in the UK who may take on clients facing such a prosecution. Frequently, solicitors these days, are unable to take on cases on a Legal Aid basis, as the Government have severely cut funding over the past ten years. Therefore many solicitors can no longer offer Legal Aid. If you are lucky, they will simply tell you, they have ‘no capacity’ to take on new clients.
Despite solicitors holding a formal legal qualification, (a Certificate) their practical experience, bears no relation to what I can offer you.
